I realize this has nothing to do with this thread and it is a minor detail, but to my knowledge the 850 GLT with LPT engine was only available in 97, not from 95 on.
True for the U.S., but not for the European market or the rest of the world. I originally put '97 in my post but wiki showed differently, then I checked... Just saying- not that big a deal but in the U.S., we all know that there were no low pressure turbos on the 850 prior to '97.
Thanks for the clarification

Jesus!
THERE ARE NO T5Rs IN 1996, SOMEONE ADDED BADGES (if they're on the car)
1995-Limited production 850 T5R
1996 and 1997 it's called an 850R. (that's a period) (NO T5!) more were available
These are actually better cars than the 1995s but no yellow

Unreal morons in customer service.
As was said, the ONLY R which had T5R on it were 1995s
You have an 850R. It's a bit of semantics as it's more or less the same car as a 95 with DIFFERENT BADGING. The brochures say 850R, badges are 850R but you're dealing with someone at customer service who probably was in diapers when these cars were new. Trust us, you have an 850R, not an 850 T5R.
