Brake Light Bulb Replacement on 2000 V70

Hello,
I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere, but I can't seem to find a good tutorial on how to replace a burned out brake light bulb on my v70. It looks like it's the upper bulb right above the back up light bulb. I noticed that my bulb indicator was coming on every time I hit the brakes this morning, so I decided to check it out. Most of the tutorials and videos I've seen refer to 2001 or later models. I am not sure if it's the same procedure or not, so I thought I might solicit you guys for help.

I do have the speaker grills on the rear pillars on adjacent sides of the tail gate. Would it be appropriate to go in through the opening for the speaker, or is there a way to get the carpeted panel off below that. I just want to make sure I'm not making more work for myself before I begin. Any tips, hints, or advice would be greatly appreciated. Again, I apologize if this question has already been covered (in depth) elsewhere.

It is the bottom bulb in the upper cluster.

Okay, yeah that makes sense. I do see a diagram from the owners manual that indicates that the lower bulb is a brake light. I guess I only glanced at it really quickly this morning before I had to rush to work. Thanks!

It was much easier than I expected and now I feel stupid for asking. They did sell me the wrong bulbs at the auto parts store, but fortunately my wife's Jetta uses the same 7065 bulbs so it was fine. They did sell me some Sylvania 1157 bulbs that have two contact points and two filaments, but the bulb I took out was a single contact, single filament 7065. Is that the right bulb for that particular part?

I'm just curious for future reference.
