You have to click on the images to see them in drop box but I'm scratching my head.... I don't recall that part specifically. I don't think it's a seat bolt (the bolts that attach the seats to the floorboard) cover, but looks like it could be. See if you can't find a matching one somewhere already attached to something in your car. It would make sense to be found under the seat if that's what it is. On second look the opening on it looks like it might be accommodating the wires for the seat controls (back and forth)...and maybe that goes over part of the motor where there's a bolt. I believe that if that's what it is, I never had that cover- in other words it was always missing on all of our Volvos.

I agree that the pictures could have been embedded but right click and open in new tab and it will take you to the pictures.

I think the part was just dumped under the drivers seat by previous owner and has nothing to do with the seat, not sure about back seats tho. I've been wondering this for a long time but just can't figure out what it is. It can be from somewhere in the engine bay also.. Seats are manually adjustable so it can't be wire cover for them, unless the whole part is from some different car.

Sorry i thought the pictures would be embedded but i was wrong.

That's a right hand drive henway. Curious as to how it ended up in a Finnish car...

Thank you, now i can sleep my nights much better. It was a "vetokoukun suojus", cover for detachable hitch.
