Ah!
My car does that occasionally after I restart from a brief stop (doing errands). Would certainly like to know why/cure...

I have an '05 XC70 which I bought with 111K on it. The climate control was wonky in that the driver's side temp control wouldn't vary the temp. All cold until knob set to highest (red) setting. I've replaced and tested 4 other modules from a junk yard. Various results but none a full functioning module. I've seen bits and pieces of advice about how to correct the problem, including sending the module off to be "reset", resetting using an OBDII tool, etc. I've not found a comprehensive discussion of diagnosis and repair/replacement of the CCM on this site. Any experts out there willing to dialogue with me?

You need a VIDA setup to diagnose the CANBUS cars - you can't do it from current flow diagrams like the old days.

I am also not sure you can swap modules in without marrying them to the CANBUS correctly, so part swapping might be futile (like resistance)

If there is heated seats try to disconnect heat control module under driver seat.
If you have questions about Volvo firmware ask me. I may know an answer :)
