Follows the grooves in roadway.
I can't be the only one with this problem. Have done a lot of work on my 98 v70xc. Lowered 2in.,New springs. New steering rack, Bad seals. Bigger sway bars. Replaced tires and wheels with Toyo Proxes4 plus, 225/40R18. The dang thing tries to follow the wear groves in the pavement. I feel like I am on a toboggan ride. Shop set toe in a bit to help but tells me there is nothing I can do. This can't be right. Please Help

How big a sway bar did you put on the rear? This is typical of large on the rear, little to nothing on the front... you could tighten up the front with over the strut mounts or even better end links (such as HD IPD) and this might help....nimble in the front though isn't a bad thing- It'll keep you on your toes!! I had similar with my '07 S40 that's lowered w/ sports springs...added a 27mm sway in the rear (20 is in the front and hard to change so I didn't)... But the addition of a strut mount and in my case, a mid chassis brace helped considerably. I'm still nimble in the front like you but it's not as bad... a lot is getting used to the new setup.

Also the XC and AWD rear hubs have different mounting points, so if you lower the springs you will throw off the rear end and how it behaves.
A set of AWD rear hubs would possibly help, but still may not fix it.
Neil.
