2004 T6 vs. 2005 2.5T awd
I am going to look at a 2004 t6 and 2005 2.5T AWD this weekend, both are up for sale for less than $4,500. Is one model generally better than the other? I like the idea of the extra power with the T6 but it looks like the engine compartment is more cramped and I don't understand why it only came with a 4-speed transmission. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Drive both and when you drive the T6 go on the interstate and you will see 4 gears is all the car needs. The T6 has more standard features like moon roof,DTSC,fog lights, etc. The T6 was 10K more when new base price so it was a better package . My current car is a 2004 S80 T6 and last car was 2002 S80 T6. Both cars have been wonderful and the 2002 saved my life in a rollover wreck. Evaluate the mileage and conditions and go with the better car. For me I would not own the 5 cylinder version as years ago when I bought my first T6 I drove all three engines available and the 5 felt underpowered to me and the plain 6 just did not have the same power feeling on the interstate and the T6 has the feeling of a big engine. Good luck! June
