1999 V70 T5 - Brake master cylinder p/n 8602305

Just wanted to issue a heads up - I ordered a master cylinder for my 99 T5 with traction control from Rock Auto and they straight up sent me the wrong part. If the Volvo of Oak Park website is right, the master cylinder changed in 2000 from 9203485 (same p/n that came off my car) to 9140897 (p/n I was sent). Rock Auto apparently thinks that happened earlier.

Just a heads up - the 99 and 00 cars are weirdos, sitting between a bunch of changes in suppliers and parts, so be vigilant when ordering parts. I really wanted to finish fixing up my brakes this weekend. Ugh.

Alldata calls for 8602305 for my 1999 T5

Same part. It has the two-bolt horizontal mounting flange, rather than the more compact diagonal-hole pattern flange on the part Rock Auto lists.

In fact, Rock Auto lists that cylinder for all P80 cars. Maybe it's an automatic/manual thing, but I can't find anything explaining which part is used in what application.

The 8602305 is listed as a supercession number for this part at the Volvo webstore
