I've got a 98 V70 with 15 inch tires and tonight I made a C-shaped tool out of some strips of wood (like a big caliper) and some double sided carpet tape to confirm that my front rotors are 11 inches. I assumed they were 11 inches since that's how big they seem when holding a yardstick up against the wheel and sighting straight on. So, I made the opening in the big C 11 inches wide. My measurement indicated that they are, in fact, 11 inches in diameter. Its raining here tonight and the car lives out in the driveway. I didn't want to be out there long so I made to tool to avoid removing wheels.
To be sure of what I have before I order I measured the back rotors and they are a little bigger than 11.75 inches in diameter (double sided tape made increasing the tool opening easy). I went over to FCPEuro to see what back rotors are available for my car and I don't see any diameter choices which would lead me to believe the following:
a) the back rotors are different from the front for 15 inch tires for a 98 V70 and
b) the back rotors available for my car are all the same size ... around 11.75 inches in diameter (based on my measurement).
Is this correct or have a got some sort of mixed set?
98v70 rear brake rotor diameter - is it supposed to be different?

Thanks. My rear rotor measurement is off by about 1/8 of an inch. That's not too surprising since the carpet tape allowed the pieces to move a little.
