Hello again,

Steve:
That's an interesting way to look at it. I'll have to think about that some more. Lucky i dont have to go that far usually, just around town normally.

sleddriver:
Yeah i didnt mean suspension work was unnecessary, just the roof racks because when i think about it i really dont have to carry anything big very often, and i also do not want to take a chance on roof leaks.
I wouldnt say it was cheap, but yeah it wasnt in perfect condition either. $2000 then another 600 for parts and repairs. This next repair will be another 600 or so so im getting up over $3000 for total cost of ownership up to this point. Total mileage since the purchase was about 600 miles, so that's an average of 5 dollars per mile so far, but only had it for about a year and three months now, so that's an average of about $6.67 per day. Based on repairs only, it's about 2 dollars per mile so far, and about 2.67 dollars per day.
The garage guy assured me that the other side was ok, and i did ask about that.
I’ve been driving a Volvo long before anyone ever paid me to drive one.
That's probably because I've been driving one since 2015 and nobody has offered to pay me yet.
1998 v70, non turbo, FWD, base model, on the road from April 2nd, 2015 to July 26, 2023.
