'07 C70, 15A fuse blows, where are these systems?

Post by eroman »

he 15A fuse, #35 in the engine bay fuse panel, continues to blow daily. Here are the systems it protects:

1. Engine sensor to valves (Camshaft position sensor?)
2. A/C relay
3. PTC element oil trap (???)
4. Charcoal filter (Canister purge valve?)
5. Air mass sensor (MAF?)

I believe I've eliminated the AC as the culprit since the 10A AC compressor fuse doesn't blow and I've swapped out the AC relay.

I have a brand new Bosch MAF sensor I haven't installed yet, as I'd like to return it for refund if it's not the problem. Since the MAF reading is 0.0 on the scanner with a blown fuse, I may leave it disconnected and see if the fuse blows again.

Question is; Where are items 1, 3 & 4, above? Is 4 a purge solenoid?

Thanks!
