V70 2.4 gas 2001 idle drops, maf , etm , o2 sensor replaced

Post by voivodata »

Hello guys,
My car is droping rpm below 850 when car is on the road and i'm breaking or slowing down.
I've replaced 2 MAF sensors , ETM is with Saser rebild. O2 sensor is replaced , No service codes.
I have also vida dice for diagnostics , but all seems all right.
All that is only when the car is moving , when car is not moving rpms are perfect.
Do you have any idea ?

2001 were plagued with costly throttle body failure, some tried to open it and fix the part that is worn. At least give it a good cleaning

As i said i have replaced with other trottle body thanks to "doublebug", the old and new are with sacer sensor , and working very very well when car is on one place, also the etm is cleaned.

didn't read it well. I suspect the car is manual because I see no 'D' on the display.
Being a manual, perhaps you may inquire on an European forum where manuals are the norm. There is a widespread issue with the clutch slave cylinder, but I believe it fails all of a sudden, worth a try in case the clutch is slipping.

The car is manual, but clutch is not the issue, because when it does it clutch pedal is pushed .
