Sounds normal to me, but I'll let others chime in. Shifts above 3000 RPM on my car were never smooth. Not a bang, but a definite jerk to it.kevinwalter wrote:jblackburn wrote:Are shifts at like 2500 RPM and NOT flat to the floor rough?
It is. When at 10-20% throttle it goes smooth. After that it goes in gear with a bit of a bang. It's shifting to fast.
What can it be? The turbometer is at 0.6 bar. 10lbs?
About all I'd have to check would be lower and upper engine mounts (rubber ones - above the valve cover and below the crankshaft pulley), firewall torque mount, transmission mount, subframe mounts, and the two hydraulic engine ones. You said you replaced some, but it was unclear which exactly.
