Hi

I've been trying to diagnose a knocking noise from the front suspension which after some intense googling I think might be the springt seats / bushes. I have already replaced the front control arm bushes and drop links and there is nothing else visibly worn or loose. Oddly the noise is most prevelant when cold at low speed on an uneven road. Seems to disappear after a few mins but a clunk rather than knocking can be heard from the same location when stopping after hard braking.

Anyone else experienced a similar knocking / clunk or issues with Spring seats?

Hi everyone. I went ahead and ordered new heavy duty spring seats from IPD which were delivered to Australia in just 1 week. What amazing service!

Anyway, it was definitely the spring seats! See old and new photos attached.

No more knocks :)
