Oil leak from back of block (firewall side).

Oil leak from back of block (firewall side).

I cannot figure out where it is coming from. Cleaned, then driven and everything is covered.

What is the typical oil leak(s) from there?

I want to fix this while it is up in the air (changing the radiator currently).

Oil return rubber seal at the oil pan is most likely broken.

#1 Turbo return to the oil pan.
#2 The pads that are bolted to the back of the block.

Dan...you have a biscuit oil cooler on the back of your 1999 too, first year for that

Just posting for any future searching.

Using an inspection camera (for those with AWD) is very, very helpful...

It was the oil return. Some PO's mess:
