Cleaned ETM But Bogging Now

Hey Everyone,

I am new to this forum but have been reading so much info here since I bout a used 2000 S80 T6 180k.

After getting it the car had that dreaded idle surge, so I took out the ETM and it was so Dirty. I cleaned it with the advice here and it idles perfect and throttle response is perfect. Then it threw a Check Engine Light came on after a few days.

Pulled the codes and it was a bad MAF. Bought one and light went off. Now.....

I was driving it the other day and it started to bog down and lose speed no matter how much throttle I gave it, then it will eventually pick up power and drive fine? I dont have smoke out the dipstick tube, idles perfect, no vacuum leaks. So it seems intermittent???

What I did find - Is when I looked at it today I saw that the tube for the in air cleaner box was not connected to the front of import that feed the air into it, so I am curious do you think that lack of intake air to the air cleaner box could cause that bogging issue?

Also to add I was a certified Ford Line Tech for years, but years ago, so I am rusty lol.
