Hello Guys

I have been thinking of buying the IPD Anti Sway bar kit for my 1999 Volvo S70 for a while now. IPD now has them on sale for $365.46. Anyone have those installed on there P80 Volvo. Do they really make that much of a difference. The reviews on IPD on them are outstanding.

What kind of improvements did you notice. I heard that it completely changes the feel of the car in terms if ride and handling.

Yes- just very tight and felt my front especially was well planted...turning seemed easier too... I also installed a strut tower bar at the same time- others have said, this one doesn't do much for our cars, but it could have...hard to tell regarding that though because, as I said, it was installed when my IPD sways were....but once again, you can't go wrong with the say bars- I know that IPD's summer sale is on- take advantage of it, if you're going to get these anyway!

Oh, I have plans to get some things from them this summer! Those sway bars might be on my list.

Just check their summer sale- somewhat deceiving...it doesn't last all summer.

Ok I did bought the Anti Sway bar kit. This one place close to my home is asking $350 to install them. Is that about how much it cost to get these installed.

Hi Ahmed. If you're having a shop install the front and rear sways I think that's a reasonable price considering what the job entails. Did you have your new rear bump stops installed yet?

Hello

Yes I said the rear bump stops installed. Robert DIY Spinner came to my place and installed them for me. He even made a youtube video.

Front Subframe needs to be lowered a few inches to get them front sway bar out, the rear sway bar can be installed by just disconnecting the brake hose, then the brakes needs to be bleed. Probably 3-4 hours of labor with the help of a car lift.
