2001 S40 - codes p0444, p0113, p0237, p0107, p0700, and p0705

Post by amaraboy »

Hi new guy. Please I have a 2001 s40 turbo that has 86k on it mileage, the engine runs fine but I have couple of problems and codes.
p0444
p0113
p0237
p0107
p0700
p0705

There is no evap valve on connection on the engine in the engine compartment, the one under the engine is not connected e.g not powered and has only one tubing connected. Please I would like to know which tubing goes where both in the engine bay and under the engine.
The IAT is not connected either and I have a couple of cables I am suspecting to be the cable for the IAT, the are about 5 cable as you will see in the picture below.which of these cable is for the IAT and what is the remaining cables connected to. The car would die immediately after start I have to put my leg on the gas pedal after turning the ignition and holding for a while but i feel am killing the engine starting it up like that but when its up it runs fine except it stalls and hesitate when I come to a stop and try driving off again but I would really love to put everything in place and see how it performs. I this part its difficult getting a good mechanics and there isn't that much volvo around as such am scared giving it to someone who'd mess up my car.....so please any help would be highly appreciated.
Lastly what is those connection with green rubbers connected to
MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE

I can't offer a ton of help, but here's some...
I will assume you've already searched those codes online.

I would first make sure all hoses are connected and in good condition. Be sure the IAC hoses are on and that it is plugged in.

The 700 and 705 codes appear to be PNP related. Sometimes this is caused by dirty contacts on the switch. Some have had success cleaning the contacts by "rowing" the gearshift end-to-end 20 times or so. Do this with the engine not running.

I think the green ringed connectors are for the headlight wipers (if equipped).
