Turn signal stalk

I've replaced the four way flasher switch and relay but still have no turn signals or four ways the only way I get turn signals is to press the four way switch I'm thinking it may be the stalk but how do you replace it

I know that this video is regarding and 850 (and your car is really no different) about a turn signal not returning to neutral after turning but it will give you an idea about what is going on with yours:

Personally, I would source one from a junk hard or otherwise, you are going to be paying a lot of money for a replacement stalk and it could be the tab on the steering column side that is broken. You won't know until you get into it.

Thanks I'll hit the salvage yard and see what I can come up with
