Can't find replacement intake tube?

Post by JexedM89 »

In the past couple of weeks I've decided to learn how to maintenance my own car, just because its a good skill to have and it can save you a lot of money if you know what you are doing. But today I screwed up. I took it upon myself to replace the spark plugs in my car. While attempting to gain access to the engine, I had to take out the air intake tube. While pulling it out, I managed to crack the actual tube and now there's a hole in it. Here's a picture so you can see what I'm talking about:
I looked at the whole tube and I can't find a replacement number. I've looked everywhere online and I can't seem to find it. Any suggestions?
Note: It's a 2004 Volvo XC90 T6 AWD.

The original tube was replaced for one without the airboxes (and with more flexible plastic). it is volvo #30636760

Why were the airboxes taken out? And does it affect anything?
