98 v70 misfire, need help ( spark plug crack) Topic is solved

I recently picked up a 98 v70 awd with 196k miles. It had a slight misfire and I noticed it was blowing oil out the dipstick tube. Since I didn't know the last time someone went through and performed a tune up I decided to do that as well. Soo today I replaced the pcv system, cleaned the iac, throttle body and the valve in the intake tube before the turbo. I also installed volvo spark plugs, cap, rotor, fue) filter and wires. Now I have a slight miss at idle that smooths out around 1500 rpm and becomes a car shaking vibration at steady speeds on the highway ( running 70 mph) . I tried unplugging the maf sensor to see if it would smooth out and no luck. I don't have a ses light on. Can anyone guide me in the riight direction?

What is the gap on the spark plugs and what wires did you use? Bougicord is the recommended supplier for the spark plug wires.

One of the cylinders is not firing. At high speed you feel smoother because of higher revs.

Pull plugs, evaluate cylinder by cylinder

A compression test would make sure top end /valves are ok

I have those plug wires installed, do you know what the gap spec is? I will puull them iin the morning and check them and when the porcelin to make sure non are cracked. Just seems weird that it got worse after the tune up, whch makes me wonder why its valves but I can do a compression check on it.

0.028 inch and small side is better. They should be single electrode type plugs

I PULLED THE PLUGS AND FOUND CYL 1 SPARK PLUG PORcelin LOOSe, REPLACED ALL PLUGS AND NOW IM JUUST WAITING FOR EVRYONNE TO WAKE UP SO I CAN STARTT THE CAR AND CHECK TO SEE IF ITS FIXED

Well it ended up beinng plugs, started it up and it ran smoother than I've ever seen it run. Thanks guys
