V70 1997 back door latch

Hi everyone I have a left rear door that won't open from the outside on inspection there seems to be a pin missing I presume plastic with a metal screw through it accessed from the hole on the outside edge of the door.
I can't find any pictures or the part to replace or make a new one I presume it's broken and fallen into the bottom of the door.
Any pictures or links would be appreciated thanks.

Are you talking about the child lock "feature" switch?

Thanks for the reply Lee its what connects the outer handle to the mechanism that opens the door.
