I cleaned the area out the other day when I did the initial squirt off, it looked like someone sealed it up at the hose/hose connection. I just took another look at it and it appears to be weeping a bit of oil around it's base. If left to it's own, I'm sure it'll get worse and eventually piss me off!!
But Volvo again has me thoroughly confused... I looked for the part and what I have looks totally factory, but it doesn't match what I am seeing in the pics. This is what Volvo shows me. Isn't the red circle the top of the Cam Cover?

This is what I have. There is a joint. There is a moulded in relief.

I think at minimum I am going to need the hose... but what is the correct part? Edit.... I found some real pics of the same part and it has the joint and the relief. Volvo Part 1271654, right? I'm not liking the looks of the current hose, so I'm ordering one and I'll replace it for cause. Which in itself looks to be quite fun!!! Oh Joy!!
Is there something I am missing here? Damn I hate not knowing!!
