You got it.

Sometimes as a shade tree mechanic you have to do what you think is best and "hope".

If the wheels and new tires don't fix the problem I'm going to check the following in the order listed. I have some 4 year old Michelins on the car now and although they have a lot of tread left at least one of them hit the same pothole (back tire) that bent the daylights out of the front rim. The front tire eventually had another hit 6 months later and blew out. Maybe the back tire ( now in the front) has some belt separation - I haven't checked because new tires will fix it.

1) big nut on driver's side axle - I installed it carefully when I replaced the driver's side cv drive axle but who knows. Maybe I didn't get it tight enough. I had the vibration before I replaced the axle though.
2) new passenger side drive axle. Current one is 6 year old aftermarket or 18 year old original Volvo- can't remember
3) front wheel hubs
4) front wheel bearings
5) transmission engine stabilizer link - top link and front lower passenger side already replaced
6) front and rear hydraulic engine mounts

This is my plan based on my reading...if anyone thinks I'm off base or should change my order please let me know.
