98 S70, N/A Broken hard hose near oil pan (P0455 related?)

My 95 may very likely be different but for what it's worth that hose runs from the top of my charcoal canister (just ahead of the front driver side wheel) across the front of the subframe (parallel to the radiator) and then down the passenger side of the subframe and towards the gas tank.

Thanks polskamafia, I'll try to follow those lines and see if I see anything amiss. Of course, I'm going to have to wait until I find someone to help me pop the hood. Sigh...

What happened to your hood??

You don't need the hood open to follow the lines. They are mostly run under the front of the car and all along the RHS of the underside of the car. Having the hood open is not needed for this.

I'm assuming the cable has broken for the hood or one side of the release has jammed.

Last owner pulled up on the hood like beast, broke the rungs. I had them welded. It sits low... The hood needs two people to open it. I can sometimes shove a piece of cardboard on the right side of the hood to help me open it. But the more I shove cardboard in there, the more I chip paint.

Neil, I don't see the other end of that hose... I'll keep looking though. I'm sure it's there somewhere. I don't have the fender liner so it's really easy to get to my charcoal canister.

I found how that line connects to the charcoal canister!!

Now, where to find 1/4" hard fuel vapor lines... I went into two Autozones and it was sold out. All I need are some extra long zip ties and we'll be in business!
