Hello everyone, This is my first post to this forum.
I have a 2005 Volvo XC90 2.5T that had the timing belt snap @ 95,000 miles. So we pulled the engine and tore it down and rebuilt it from the bottom up. Afterwards it started right up like it should but when I start out there is no power for the first couple of seconds and then it kicks in and runs like a champ. You can see a video of the symptoms here The local Volvo mechanic thought that it might be the kick down cable, but there doesn't appear to be one in this model. It appears that it is electronically controlled.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.
No power at take off than runs fine.

The same thing.
I'm getting a cam code error P0340, and there is a high pitch noise coming from the exhaust pressure switch for the variable timing on top passenger side of engine. here is a link to the noise from a video I just made.
Thank you for your response.
