Got a drawing of the belt routing -- no worries. The repair should go down tomorrow, but I was spraying a bit of PB Blaster around this evening to prepare and noticed some of the A/C lines are looking a bit marginal, so we'll see if it holds vacuum. Even if it does, I may pause by a day to replace the lines if they are as bad as I think they may be.

Didn't get the job done today. Just too much tough disassembly work with rusted fasteners and marginal access. I'll take tomorrow off to finish it up if parts and tools cooperate.

One more hitch. Took today off to finish the job. The Rhein aftermarket accumulator/dryer I purchased from FCP will not work. The gooseneck bend pipe that goes into the metal tubing on which the inlet port fits is misaligned so that it is impossible to thread the a/c line to the condenser down on the threaded neck due to interference from the gooseneck. I'll be purchasing a "Four Seasons" brand accumulator from local NAPA. I've seen pictures of this part on-line and it looks like the pipes are properly aligned. I tried to go with a Volvo accumulator from my local dealer, but they don't have it in stock and I need to complete the job today.

Evan - you can bump, bend and twist stuff here to make it fit. Its thick steel and you won't hurt stuff moving it 3-5mm to clear, even.

Thanks, Steve. Not willing to bend this stuff. If it doesn't work out, I'd still like to be able to return it. Plus, the threads looked cheap too.
