Newbie so forgive me for what I may say or do wrong. I've dug through the forums as best I could looking for the answer but haven't found anyone with this exact problem (not a good sign) so I thought I better post and ask.
Not sure of all the terminology, but I'll try to explain. Our doors are supposed to automatically unlock when we attempt to open them and have the key fob in our pocket, etc. This only works on the passenger side and the trunk. Both driver side doors do nothing.
Also, we are supposed to be able to push the button on the outside of the door to lock the doors if we have the key fob on our person. Again this only works on the passenger side doors. We have two fobs and they both do the exact same thing.
I hope this explanation makes sense and I sure hope someone can offer some advice. My wife normally has the fob buried in her purse so she always has to go to the other side of the car to lock and unlock the car. She is perfectly fine with this because she loves her car, but being the fixer that I am, I can't stand having something that just doesn't work right.
Any advice is appreciated.
