No I have not cleaned it yet, just got my timing belt parts today. I wouldn't start it until the belt and other parts are replaced( 135000 and never been changed). When I first bought it I knew it burned oil, so I checked the PCV( glove over oil filler) to see if it was clogged and there was no noticeable crankcase pressure.

smart move not to run it til the belt etc is swapped out.
Soiunds like its losing oil, not burning it or the O2 sensor would have set a code.
When doing the glove test , I believe you need to run it up to 2K rpm.

I got this turbo cartridge. $173, it was balanced and test spun to 150K.
