I have a FP gauge, there was 0 FP at rail when fuel pump is cut off. When I jump the fuel pump it works and the fuel pressure is within spec and holds pressure. The L/F actuator wasn't working properly, probably just coincidental but none the less I replaced them. Anyway I have a clicking noise at fuse block above dead pedal when she doesn't want to start, is there another fuel pump relay in these cars? I replaced the FP relay at fuse block under hood cowl.cn90 wrote:I'd:
1. Jump the fuel relay (use proper jump wire, spade type ends and insert into 15 and 87 sockets).
2. Listen to fuel rail with screwdriver + ear (ear to the end of screwdriver).
If you hear fuel running, all it means is that there is fuel flow, but the pressure can only be checked with proper fuel gauge.
How many miles in your 2000 Wagon, I have the feeling your fuel pump is going South...
Yes I was thinking fuel pump was on way out because it dies out after an hour or two of driving. Again though when it dies out after driving for a long while I have a clicking sound under dash and when it's running there's a faint buzzing behind dash.
