Re: PNP woes

So the car fixed itself. I've been driving it off and on for the past few weeks with a constant up arrow, associated lights and fear of it going to limp mode. The times it would go to limp mode is shift into park, shut it off and fire it back up and it normally fixed the issue. Today I drove it up to the store with my favorite light show, shopped for about 15-20 minutes, jumped back in, hit the key and noticed the caution lights flash a few times without hitting the button, thought that was weird but noticed the up arrow and flashing lights were off. No limp mode either. I've been driving it around town for a bit and no more light show. It still has the CEL I need to investigate. Just thought the chain of events was weird

Could have told you that would happen. Have you pulled tranny codes yet?

Does anyone have a good copy of the software needed? I've looked around and am weary of using an unknown file from one of the suggested p2p sites.

Let me see if I can PM the file over to you. I'll have to check to see how it's installed on my laptop, but I should be able to do it that way.

I assume you haven't found any working Vol-FCR program? Try to get BrickDiag, that'll work the same. Check out this link: https://www.brickboard.com/AWD/volvo/15 ... lm327.html

I was able to download a certain copy of VOL-FCR SW but it doesn't give me the option to clear codes or really do anything. It is giving me an EFI-666 code, which from what I can find is a generic code for transmission trouble. SO I'm still digging for a good software, I did register on that german site and holy crap its annoying trying to translate everything haha. I'm waiting to get approved now.
