I've noticed recently that my spedometer and odometer quit functioning during my drive. Its an intermittent problem and is usually fixed by simply shutting the car off and restarting it. Any ideas? Is one of my connectors loose?
Also, I have been noticing a very, very strong gasoline smell in the cabin of the car as well as just outside it after i turn it off. I have very recently replaced the fuel pump as well as had the fuel system cleaned by JiffyLube. I have not noticed a drop in gas mileage. Should I be concerned?

Do you have an ABS and/or Tracs light illuminated on the dash? A failing ABS module results in the same symptoms.

+1 on the ABS... i had the same problems. put in a reman ABS module.. everything solved.
