ETS light but no CEL

2000 V70xcse.
ETS but no CEL, what's this mean?
Drives well, the ETM was replaced with a Xemodex and software was reflashed less than a year ago.

The ETS light is a very good diagnostic of a bad ETM. On a 2000, that means a new module and software match

If you aren't in limp mode, you can probably drive another 5-10,000 miles

The electronic throttle body was replaced and no drive ability issues. I eerased and waiting to see if it comes back.

Sanity check: does the CEL come on with the engine off and the key in position II ?

I've seen more than a few "don't have a CEL" because "CEL bulb is burned out."
