I am trying to determine if my camshaft position sensor is indeed bad. Can anyone tell me what the resistance should be between 2 of the 3 pins on the sensor? I took it off, no obvious defect... but resistance is infinite between any 2 of the 3 pins.

It's cranking, getting fuel... won't fire.
Thanks!
Camshaft Position Sensor
I have my working sensor pulleddoing the head gasket. This is not going to belp you much. Mine has open circuit between all pins. Also checked each pin to the positioner body and all pins are open as well. Tried several ranges on my meter with the same results. I had to replace mine a while back and I don't remember how I isolated it to the position sensor. I did buy one of the aftermarket sensors that was a lot cheaper and it has performed well fo quite a while.
Hope this helps. If it was me I would replace it since the car will not start if it is defective.

Or get a CPS from local junk yard to test.
There is a wiring diagram somewhere in forum, you can search for that.
