My 850 GLT has a very strong smell of gasoline from the front of the vehicle when it is sitting.
It has been parked outside this week in 100+ degree weather.
It runs well and is not leaving puddles of gas on the ground.
Clearly it's some kind of evaporative leak
Could it just be the heat or could there be some potential hoses..etc disconnected somewhere?, where would you begin?
Also can anyone direct me to a source for diagrams and hose locators so I have a notion of where to look
I know older engines that were just pistons and distributors but these things are computers and plumbing......
I need help on this...
Thanks in advance for your assistance

It's either a loose hose on the canister ( annoying) or raw gas getting out ( dangerous)
If it's really strong I would look at the fuel pressure regulator ..follow the vacuum hoses to a dish near the firewall side of the engine , pull of the hose and sniff for fuel
The diaphragm breaks and let's fuel get sucked in to the manifold in excess.
Park vehicle until you find the source.
