2007 v70 BERU ZSE 055 Connectors don't fit on coil packs.

Post by fixer333 »

The previous owner changed two of the coil packs and when removing them to repair the wiring harness. I noticed that the connectors on the new coil packs were not seated fully( the clip on the connector was not locked). I have tried to seat them fully and it is impossible to do so. The new coil packs are BERU ZSE 055 and are listed as a replacement for this car. The car runs fine, but I don't like that they dont fit right. All of the old packs and stock connectors fit fine. Anyone have this happen?

Sounds like a parts tolerance issue or perhaps the connector is not quite deep enough to fully accept the plug. I think I would use a zip tie to serve as the clip function.
