I also replaced the upper torque mount bracket (w/ OEM), upper torque bushing (w/ OEM), and lower transmission mount (w/ OEM). (The "Poopparts" failure trifecta...) I had been having horrible engine vibration for a while. Anyhow, I checked my motor mounts (one Corteco and one Febi) and my side engine mount (Febi) and they're still good. I had imagined that one of the bolts had come loose with all the movement I was having, but no, they're still solid.
I had the move the car out of the driveway to let the neighbors do some work on their yard the other day and turned the car around and drove it, it sounded like [insert poo emoji]. And that's when I heard a metal sound when turning the wheel. I'm going to chalk that one up to the horrible subframe bushings ("Poopparts") that were metal on metal... But I'm not sure if that sound is still there because I didn't get to drive the car around the block...
As soon as I turned the car on, I get this code: P0264... Immediately. I cleared it and turned the car back on. And got the code immediately again.
Of course, I go on MVS... Well, no one is writing about this code. It's not showing up anywhere!!!
If anyone can give me some pointers, that would be great. I am thinking about driving it to my mechanic, it needs to get inspected anyway... Just need to know what this is. I haven't driven the car much in six weeks. The Proparts upper torque mount slipping and sliding around was really annoying. I wonder if it's caused some long term problems...
The money pit ensues...
