98 oil cooling lines leak. O ring or

Hello
Should I just go for O rings
I know it's at the Union, and I have a tough time accepting it is the hoses end. I would suspect the rad 1st.
But more wear would come from the O ring?
Any thoughts

And further, we have a Oil smell in the cabin.
So between whatever possibilities from rear main seals, to oil cooler seals. I guess they all get tired.
This beauty has 321,000km
But is in overall good condition.
Just replaced the heater core which I know can smell a bit until it is up to temp. It's been a week now!
And outside of a ok Vlave Stem Seal job and the listed other possibilities

Have you replaced the oil cooler "o" rings at all? I recommend only using the OE parts and using new clips and a little Vaseline on the new seals to make them go back in without damaging them. Make sure you have cleaned the radiator cooler ports carefully and make sure there are no rust spots to catch and damage the seals.

The cooler lines are not leaking at the swage point where the rubber line starts?

Have you done the PCV system and PTC nipple clean out?
