Fuel Vapor Canister EVAP Shut Off Valve .
Where is this located on a 98 v70?

Front driver fender is the canister location. On late 1998s and the 1999 it moves back to the passenger side rear wheel, I North America

I know the canister is there had to replace hoses on it in the summer it looks like the shut off is in the wheel well on the driver's side meaning i have to remove the wheel well cover i think i have a bad hose going to it.

Sorry about that. The shut off valve is in the area of the canister - I think you do have to remove the liner to get a good look at it.

There are couple of good shots of the canister with the fender removed in the VRD or threads, too.
