Diagnostic Code 002F - safe to drive distance for repair?

Transmission problem - Under warranty in another State from a 2015 replacement. Approximately a 17 hour drive away. I have been told by a transmission shop it "should" be okay. Family tells me no, the engine could seize. I would appreciate your thoughts. Thank you.

I can't imagine a warranty bring honored after 17 hour drive with issues.

I would flat bed it.
