- It's not a clicking sound, like the typical CV joint sound.
- The sound only occurs from acceleration, sometimes.
- The sound is more pronounced when turning the wheel to the right and accelerating.
- There is no sound when driving straight.
Car has all new mounts, front, rear, side, upper, and new subframe bushings. (All bolts have been inspected and they're all still there!
I replaced the outer tie rod. Inner tie rod is still tight. (Unlike the Meyle driver's side, but whatever...)
This has to be a hub/bearing, cv axle, or control arm thing, right? Can CV axles go bad without the boot splitting? One thing I've noticed is that the outer CV axle boot on my Napa axle is all twisted up. Which I've never understood...
Trying to figure out what part to throw at the car... Sigh...
