what part is this - 1998 v70t5 Topic is solved

If I could get some input on this attached photo,

This is taken to the right of the engine to the left of the airbox

There is a bit of leakage coming from the part that is the darkest in the picture (almost dead center) and looks as if oil is leaking from it?

Can someone help with what it is so I can gauge when or if it should be fixed

That part is connected on transmission and it looks like it's reverse light switch.

This guy is a switch? So the fluid should be transmission fluid?

Should be....i don't know what else should be on top of transmission housing.

I think it's the transmission speed sensor. Try changing the O-ring on it.

chrafael and misha, you guys rock! Thank you as i got the info I need. Using another picture where they pinpointed the TSS (you can see its to the right of the block and the left of a cone intake on another picture). It seems like an easy thing to tackle. Still without yalls help i wouldve had no clue where to start. Thanks again!!
