I think this car will get me around in a clutch...and it beats pedaling. Every clutch has a silvery lining.

Don't know whether single mass or dual, but the original clutch on my '98 V70 had racked up 229.5k miles before I burned an exhaust valve and swapped the engine. It wasn't yet down to the rivets. Close, but not there.

all the manual labour to automatically settle for the minimum of selected parts... It just grinds my gears.

I like it when a cheap plan meshes together. I'm sure the cost ratio trumped any preemptive parts logic.
