Sunroof drain clogged, A/C blower drain hose may come off, cracked windshield seal, or, hey, your car is at age for a leaking heater core! :) Didn't you have unexplainable headaches recently? Ethylene glycol is poisonous. Was it a water or something greasy?

I went to have a look and here's what I've found. Side note, all my drains seem to be clear and work properly.

Hmm. Now it's wet on the back footwell only. Is there a drain that goes to the back doors?

Yes. Second row right side, pull side support, you'll find another drain hose there.

And on the left? It's the left footwell that's wet.
Where does this one drain out to? Ie if I pour water on the roof, I should see 2 drips at the front under bonnet and 2 drips for the back somewhere else?

On the left, there is a 10" long hose going from the left side bottom of the climate unit into the firewall right behind the gas pedal. A big warning, do not disconnect this hose from the firewall, it took me 15min to put it back on. Just unplug it from the climate unit, and blow through. Side note, usually the left footwell gets wet from the sunroof drain in the A pillar.

The front carpets can be removed from the car - to let them dry - by removing the two front 14mm bolts from the seat rails.

Front 2 corner sunroof drains are fine. Although front left runs slower. By the way I took off the plastic but i can't get to the tube anyway, it's behind metal... You can see it in the top left here before it goes behind the metal frame.

How do I test the back ones? Wherever I pour water into the sunroof drain just all goes forwards. I also cannot see the rear corner drain holes as the glass is in the way

Mines too pass through the A pillar, not accessible. I'd just plug a tube where the drains holes are on the sunroof frame, and blow or pour water

Speaking of which isn't there any chemical I can put down to unblock it? Like draino :) :)

I could try blowing down it but the hole seems rectangular in the roof drain. Attaching a tube might not make a good seal.

If the drains block often, why would Volvo hide the drain tube behind the metal a frame?!
