Climate control dead
Climate control dead
My wife has an 07 S80. The battery died a couple nights ago and I replaced it yesterday. Since I've put the new battery in, the climate controls do not work. I'm in lower Alabama and we still have 80-90 degree days. No ac for the wife and a 3 month old baby is NO GOOD! I've already tried the removing battery cables and touching them together. Still nothing. Please help!

Is the blower working at all; have you checked power to the module/fuses?
If good, then it is possible for a control module to be thrown offline after battery disconnect.
Try resetting by doing LOCK/UNLOCK/LOCK (either with the key fob push buttons or by turning the physical key in the door lock).
Please post back, thanks

Example of Precision: Measure with a Micrometer, mark it with Chalk, and then cut it with an Axe.

No, the blower isn't working at all. I can't adjust speed, temp, any of that. I can't recall off the top of my head, but I think I remember the "blower fuse" being on the lower section of the under hood fuse block. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to get to the lower as the "section 1, upper fuse block" as the manual calls is sits on top. I will try the lock unlock sequence as soon as I can get to the car. Thanks for the reply. Will post back with results later..
Found the climate control issue. Got home from work and checked every fuse with a test light. It ended up being a 5 amp fuse for Alarm/ ECC, so the ac works again! Now another issue. The auto window down/up doesn't work now. They will roll down if the buttons are held down, but not just clicking it for auto. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

There is a Window Regulator Calibration Procedure, try to search the forums for it; I will too.

Here is the thread:

The attachments are for a different MY but the steps are quite similar.
Hope this helps
