I have a whiny sound seemingly coming from the enginebay passengerside, which directly relates to engaging the clutch in first gear.
It seems the longer you let it slip, the longer and whynier the sound is. but if you are gentle and slow it wont make any sound.
It could also be interpreted as a tiny belt slip sound/feeling.
The clutch is not slipping or anything like that.
it is overall a bit tired and defenitely not new, but I have no reference to a new clutch anyway and I dealt with that in many a car for hundred thousands of kms.
I am just a bit worried it will crap out suddenly. Wich is the moment my girl drives it probably.
I recently rebuild all my brake calipers and basicly pumped 1,5 liter of brand new brake fluid through the whole system.
Because of the light we had a really hard time seeing if there was enough fluid in the reservoir all the time. But i really tried to keep it as full as possible.
Could the two be somehow connected? Since the clutch fluid comes from there too.
Maybe it means air in the system? needs bleeding somewhere?
Or maybe a second time bleeding the calipers allover in a right order?
The brakes are a world of difference btw. Not even a 100 euro for all new parts. Few hours work at home in the vice and done.
Thanks!
