n/a vs turbo airbox

I have a 98 S70 T5 that I picked up a couple years ago. When I bought it the previous owner had installed an open air intake. I have an old airbox from a 1994 2.4 n/a 850. I was wondering if I could use that airbox for the bottom piece and pick up just the cover from a junkyard since my S70 has the air pump line going to the airbox as well.

I think the bottom half will work, but you will definitely need a turbo top half, just because of the different outlet.

That's a nice touch. I'll have to swap out my airbox top half for a "Turbo" one.

The bottom halves are slightly different: the NA piece will have a flap thermostat. You will want to gut that, remove the door completely so it does not interfere with intake. I would just spend the extra few bucks and get a whole turbo box, sounds like you do have access to a junkyard.

And seize this opportunity to get rid of the air pump!
