Here you go, I wrote that DIY 4 years ago. So far so good, the 5/8-inch heater hose is doing very well.
Just pay attention to where the curves are and don't create a kink and you will be fine.

Glad the masters have responded as they've actually done this upgrade. Mine is "patched" for now until cooler weather prevails. Note you might want to add a nylon 90° elbow to prevent the rubber hose from kinking where it makes a left hand turn to head back towards the intake pipe.
