I have replaced that hose in a couple cars, using a generic part from Advance Auto. Works really well. It comes in a white box, corrugated hose like the original, it's black on the outside, not silver. I tried searching their site but didn't find it, I can't remember what section of the store it was in (exhaust maybe?). I know I have seen the same part on the shelf at O'Reilly's here. Take the broken hose in to the chain store auto parts place and ask if they have anything like it, they probably do.98v70dad wrote: ... I still have to find a source for that aluminum preheated air tube. I tried to stretch mine a little to make up the the tear on one end...didn't work. ...
Thanks for posting this, it is a good alert for people.98v70dad wrote: ... I should have used my wheel chocks but didn't understand how easily the car would shift out of park. Lesson learned. I'll know better next time.
