You must be a Napa insider ;) Every few months they have it on sale and I get three cases. Once done, I get whatever I can find on full synthetic. Never get Wally World oil, I've had 4 cars misbehave after an oil change and had to switch to oil from auto parts store.

I used Pennzoil platinum, got black pretty quickly. Put Castrol Edge 0W30, got black.
Put Castrol Edge 0W40 got darker but still clear: being an average consumer, it makes me think it's better  But in any case, the 40 number is better for engines that see more action 8)

M1 10w-30HM. HTHS = 3.5 cS; A good, thick 30 that works well in older, turbo motors. Replaced every 8kmi with a filter change at 4k.

Matty Moo, you notice any difference since you made the switch to SuperTech? Those six/seven dollars... Almost a decent six-pack if you ask me. I'm due for an oil change towards the end of the month, maybe I should give it a try.
Nope. I change it every 3000 miles, none of those three see more than 10k/year.

I run that same stuff in my equipment, it gets run hard sometimes up to 10 hours/day. No issues, I just change it according to schedule.

10W-40 Mobile 1 HM, Use to change every 8k, now every 10k. Burn about 1 quart every 2,000 miles due to bad valve stem seals.

I'm currently running Penzoil Platinum HM 10w30 Full Synth. It's been good, not much lifter noise or anything out of the ordinary. Before this I was running Valvoline 10w30 Synth. Again, about average. No matter what, if the car has been sitting for a day I will get lifter noise on a cold start. I haven't noticed very much consumption with either oil.
