Driving home from Tampa engine light came on and turbos were clearly not operating proper also I felt nervous about the non-Volvo fluid in the transmission so I drove straight to the shop. My mechanic determined vacuum hose to turbos had been damaged when cam seals were being changed. They were brittle from age. Also I opted to have 120k service done early since they were keeping my car. As always Mike had a Volvo waiting for me to drive.

Due to a funeral I had to drive 3,300 miles round trip so I took her in for a early oil change though oil had like 1000 miles since previous service. Plus this was the car's first out of Florida road trip and due to hot summer I had Castrol Edge 10w30 used. I just don't want strange shops touching my car or was I going to run 4000 plus miles on oil. I know they say 7500 is OK and even 10000, but I think that is crazy.

Ticket total $89.81
Also he put 1 quart Edge 10w30 plus a gallon of Volvo coolant in the trunk for me just in case. No extra charge

I was getting upset because the vibration or misfire was still happening. So I took it to Osteen Volvo for service and this was the ticket. They warrantied both front axles and replace them at no charge to me. Volvo Corporation made good on the forever warranty on parts and labor without any complaint the vibration was thought to be coming from one of the axles. So to be sure Osteen Volvo just replace both under warranty to be sure the problem was solved. This was the third visit with the same complaint so they made sure the car was fixed.

I am visiting family for Thanksgiving and on the way here my left front break stuck on. I took it to Ferman Volvo for repair. The car had a bad break line. I was sold new rubber lines, pads, and rotors. The next day they called wanting to sell me a new abs unit. I decided the abs unit as no abs light on and abs and traction control also is working so why replace a $2200.00 unit? I was told break power bleeder would not work so manual bleeding would be tried. Breaks are working fine and I mashed the pedal with both feet at 75mph, abs worked perfectly and stopped straight. Here is the bill
